TADERA's ASC Access Cards are an affordable biometric access control solution that allows airports to quickly and easily add two-factor authentication for biometric access control for secure areas. The authentication process is self-contained within the ASC Access card, so biometric data is not transmitted – meaning separate biometric reader hardware is not required. ASC Access cards are compatible with NFC SEOS-enabled card readers, so airports can use them to implement two-factor authentication without upgrading existing hardware, saving time and money.

Safe Skies Alliance recently completed and released its review of the biometric cards following our pilot at the Richmond Airport (RIC).The full report is available upon request to all airports directly through Safe Skies. Key findings from the evaluation include:
- Enrollment Process Efficiency: all test subjects successfully enrolled with one thumbprint with median time to enroll and verify of < 1 minute.
- All subjects enrolled successfully, i.e., the Failure to Enroll Rate (FTE) for the system was 0%, showcasing the efficiency of the enrollment process.
- Access Control Performance: Zero instances of False Acceptance in normal conditions with 240 attempts.
- Attempt-to-Defeat Testing (ATD) demonstrated the system's resilience against forged prints, ensuring security against unauthorized access.
- System Suitability: system maintenance was minimal, with only one card requiring attention during the evaluation. Installation and integration were straightforward, and the system proved adaptable to existing access control readers.
- Usability: User-friendly enrollment process with a 100% success rate among test subjects.
- Observations over one month indicated smooth system operation, validated by positive survey results from RIC test subjects.
